Epping Forest is the largest public open space in the London Area, a remnant of ancient hunting forest protected by two pioneering Acts of Parliament passed in 1878. . Much of the Forest is open access with many opportunities for walking, and it is easily reached by trains, buses and the Central Line Underground. We are located just 3 miles from the Lea Valley White Water Centre, home to the Olympics Canoe and Kayak course, where you can now use the same facilities as the Gold medal winning teams. We are also just down the road from Copped Hall a fine Georgian mansion that is currently under restoration. It is superbly sited on a ridge overlooking its landscaped parkland.
